The Vice-Chancellor who lamented the absence of critical infrastructure and essential services that require huge capital investment, solicited for assistance to develop the campus so as to make it conducive for learning, teaching, research and work.

Pro-Chancellor of the University, Senator Chris Adighije, recalled that the challenges of the year were the Covid-19 global pandemic and the incessant ASSU strikes, which he said affected the University system so much that the class of the year 2020 could not complete their studies until this year.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his passion for educational system and the love for the youths of the nation and in particular the Federal University Lokoja, through the various financial interventions aimed at galvanising the Institution to a World class.

“The University is today awarding degrees and diplomas to it’s deserving Students who have passed all prescribed examinations and have been found worthy in both learning and character by the Senate of the University. “The ceremony will also see the award of Honorary Doctorate degrees to worthy Ambassadors of Nigeria, both within and in diaspora.
