The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the activities of online scammers and fraudsters who parade themselves as admission officials of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), thereby deceiving unsuspecting applicants and swindling them of their hard-earned money through their subtle machinations.
The FUL Management is, therefore, calling on admission seekers, parents/guardians, and members of the general public to beware and be wary of these swindlers who have intensified their nefarious activities in the last few days, particularly at this season of admission upload on JAMB CAPS and registration by successful candidates which are still ongoing.
Also, applicants and newly admitted students are advised to follow the admission checking/registration guidelines displayed on the University website to avoid being scammed by these criminal elements who disguise as agents or official representatives of the University by issuing fake admission letters and payment receipts. Please check the official guidelines on FUL website here: https://fulokoja.edu.ng/news-flash.php?i=49&alias=2024-2025-admissions-exercise-important-notice-to-all-applicants_1732889870
Finally, report such fraudulent phone numbers and fake social media accounts to the University authority or law enforcement agencies. Already, the Department of State Services (DSS) is currently investigating some of the alleged cases reported to ensure that the perpetuators face the music and to serve as deterrent to others.
Please beware and don't fall for their deceptive tendencies. Any applicant or admission seeker who still patronizes these criminals despite this warning does that at his or her own peril.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed!

Management
