As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, commemorating the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, extends warm greetings, heartfelt wishes, and prayers to members of the University community and the general public.

In his Easter message, Professor Ibileye described the season as a time of hope, renewal, sacrifice, and victory over adversity. He encouraged staff, students, and stakeholders to reflect on the enduring values exemplified by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: faith, resilience, selflessness, and love for one another.

The Vice-Chancellor prayed that the joy and blessings of Easter fill every heart with peace, strength, and renewed purpose. He further urged members of the University community to remain steadfast in their collective commitment to unity, academic excellence, and the continuous progress of the institution.

Professor Ibileye reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of staff and students, assuring that deliberate and people-centered policies will continue to be implemented to create a supportive, safe, and enabling environment for teaching, learning, and research.

He emphasized that the University management remains resolute in addressing critical needs and improving the overall campus experience, noting that the well-being of the University community remains a top priority.

“As we celebrate this sacred season, may the resurrection of Christ inspire us all to embrace hope, strengthen our bonds, and work together toward a brighter and more prosperous future for our University,” he reiterated.

The Vice-Chancellor concluded by wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Easter celebration.
