The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, has expressed appreciation to the Okun Development Association, Federal University Lokoja Chapter, for its show of solidarity and support for the administration's efforts and achievements since he assumed office.

The Vice Chancellor gave the commendation while responding to a courtesy visit by members of the Okun Development Association, Federal University Lokoja Chapter, at his office. 

Prof. Ibileye thanked the Association for the confidence reposed in his administration and described the visit as a demonstration of the shared commitment to the continued progress of the University. 

He reaffirmed his resolve to sustain purposeful leadership anchored on excellence, transparency and inclusiveness, adding that his administration will continue to pursue policies that promote the collective interest of the University community.

The Vice Chancellor further stated that the achievements recorded by the University since he assumed office have been made possible through the support and cooperation of staff, students and other critical stakeholders. He urged members of the Association to remain committed to the vision of building a stronger institution where unity, hard work and mutual respect remain the guiding values.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Okun Development Association, Federal University Lokoja Chapter, Prof. M. N. Suleiman, commended the Vice Chancellor for the remarkable strides recorded under his leadership within a short period in office. 

Suleiman reaffirmed the Association's confidence in the administration and pledged its continued support for initiatives aimed at advancing the growth and reputation of the University.

The visit was to congratulate the Vice Chancellor on his assumption and the achievements recorded so far, and to express the Association's solidarity and support for his administration's vision for the continued development of the Federal University Lokoja.
