FUL Promotes University Librarian to the Rank of Associate Professor, Former Librarian to Full Professor

The Senate of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) at its 67th Meeting held on Thursday, 4th November, 2021 announced the promotion of the University Librarian, Dr. (Mrs) Sarah Dauda Yani to the rank of Associate Professor (Reader), while the immediate past University Librarian, Dr. Ezra Shiloba Gbaje was equally promoted to the rank of full Professor, following positive responses received from the External Assessments of their Publications.
The promotions were announced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi on the floor of Senate during the meeting which took place today at the Council Chamber, Adankolo Campus.
Similarly, Professor Abdullahi Emmanuel Bala was appointed as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at the 67th Senate meeting. Professor Bala was the Dean, Faculty of Science, a position he held until his appointment as the DVC (Admin).
