On this 1st of October, 2017, our beloved country is 57 years old. As Nigerians within and outside the country celebrate this historic day, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Angela Freeman Miri on behalf of the University Management felicitates with staff and students of this great institution. It is our prayer that Nigeria will surmount her present challenges and become a greater country that we all dream of. Therefore, let us shun violence, hate speech and continue to live together in peace, love and unity. Let us join hands together to build a better and stronger Nigeria.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Happy Independence Day, Nigerians.
