BRIEF HISTORY
The Health Services was established shortly after the inception of the University in Adankolo Campus. We commenced operations on December 12, 2012. We offer 24 hours full services. We started out in a 2 bedroom house in 2012 and have expanded to have the following: Health Services Annexe (housing Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory and Revenue), Crèche, Drug stores, NHIS offices (Multiple Purpose Halls), Community Drugs Store (Seed Money) as we look forward to the Felele campus unit
The members of staff of the Health Services are 65 in number. Dr. Magnus Chinemerem Ogaraku is the acting Director. The team of Unit heads join the acting Head to become the management team for the Health Service.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Health Services parade very courteous staff. We offer 24 hours services. The Health Centre was recently remodeled and expanded by the University management to accommodate more offices, theatre, wards, investigation suites, laundry, call room, Medical Investigations, Female Ward, Male Ward, Delivery Suite etc. Many members of staff have received either the University management commendation letters and/or annual Health Services award of excellence for units (to encourage team work) and for individuals (excellence)

The Health Services, in line with the mission of the University plays its part to enable the University to train employable graduates through competency-based teaching, applied research and practical community service to the catchment area, Africa and the world

the University tries to attain the height of being the best among the nine
newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria in 2011 and one of the top ten
ranking universities in Africa
