TRANSITION TO GLORY: PROFESSOR JOSEPH SUNDAY ALIYU

The University lost a don in the person of Professor Joseph Sunday Aliyu on Friday 31^st of July, 2015.  He was the pioneer Head of Department of English and Literary Studies, and until his death, the Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.  The funeral arrangements are as follows:

Requiem Mass/Service of Songs at the FUL Auditorium        -           2^nd September, 2015 (5pm)

Laying in State at Federal University Lokoja Auditorium        -           3^rd September, 2015(10am-12noon)

Wake-keep at Magongo                                                    -          3^rd September, 2015

Funeral Mass and Burial at Magongo                                 -          4^th September, 2015

The Vice Chancellor, University Management, Senate, Staff and Students of the Federal University Lokoja pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace and the family the fortitude to bear the loss (Amen).
