The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Angela Freeman Miri on behalf of the University Governing Council, Senate and the Management uses this medium to appreciate and thank the entire University Community for their cooperation, dedication and perseverance through the year and wishing all members of staff and students Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Please note that in addition to the Public Holidays declared by the Federal Government for Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year Celebrations (Monday 25, Tuesday 26, December 2017 and 1st January, 2018 respectively), the University Management has approved from 27th – 29th December, 2017 as work free days for all members of staff except those on essential services. Normal work resumes on Tuesday 2nd January, 2018.
